Today is the beginning of a future we must all work to define. As President of Kenya, I will work diligently and endlessly for you. But each citizen should also participate in reshaping the country and its outlook.

So I ask you to get involved by sharing your ideas, volunteering your time, donating to the cause and asking others to join our efforts toward a unified, resolved and prosperous Kenya.

I'm also asking for your vote. Your vote is your voice. More important, your actions—toward improving our politics, our environment, our communities, our schools and our economy—speak even louder for the future that is Kenya.
